About Northland Exposure Artists' Gallery
Northland
Exposure Artist's Gallery has become a destination
gallery for art lovers in the greater Kansas City
metropolitan area and throughout the Midwest. Our artists offer a range of artistic expression and media,
including oil, acrylic, pastel and watercolor painting;
a variety of mixed media and drawings; sculpture;
handcrafted jewelry; photography; pottery; stained glass and fiber art. New artwork is
continually introduced throughout the gallery adding to
its freshness and diversity.
An
Artist-Owned Gallery As an artist-owned and managed gallery, the organization
is governed by an elected board of directors with all
members serving on committees to ensure efficient
operation. There are usually two artists on duty
whenever the gallery is open for business.
Founded in 1999 Northland Exposure Artists' Gallery was founded by a
Northland artist, Debbie Pfauth, who opened an art
gallery in Smithville, Missouri. In 1999 it was
reorganized as a cooperative gallery and moved to
Parkville. The gallery has been in its present location
on Main Street since March of 2005. Over the years
Northland Exposure Artists' Gallery has grown from a
handful of dedicated artist-members to a flourishing art
gallery comprised of nearly 50 talented regional
artists.
We
