Subjects

My favorite subjects are still-life that I have set up, often times using items that are dear to me.  Landscape ideas come from all of our travels.  I love to come home and recreate those places we have visited

Philosophy

To recreate what I see in real life and make it come alive on canvas. I see the world in colors rather than objects and love to use all of those different colors and shapes in making my work come to life on a canvas

Artistic Beginnings

Starting with acrylics many years ago, I discovered I could sit for hours and just paint my heart away.  From there I tried watercolors, then on to oils, where I really found my true love.
