It's all about color! Bold, bright colors! Except when it's not. I prefer realism but sometimes segue into abstract or funky pieces. I didn't take any art classes until college and then only to have a break from all the science classes. For the record, they were mostly 3D art. I picked up the brush in 1987 and never looked back. I have taken adult education classes and various workshops in acrylics, pastel, woodcarving and woodburning over the years and have taught woodburning as well.
