In a world full of AI and algorithms, art reminds us that we are still human. That is why I paint.

 

I’ve been making art since I was a kid growing up in the Florida panhandle. When it was time to attend college, I was offered an art scholarship. But my father told me I’d never be able to support myself as an artist. So, I chose a creative career in advertising instead. Over the years, I’ve won many top creative awards for marketing. And that success has only fanned the flames to create my own art.

 

My latest body of work explores the weight of being an individual. By drawing on my experience in advertising, I use oils and acrylics to promote a more personal product – the human condition.
