Rooted in my Iowa farm upbringing, my art blends whimsical, expressive imagery with elegance, humor, and movement. My recent rabbit, goat, and donkey paintings bring animal personalities to life through distinctive gestures and engaging expressions.

 

Across my work—from these paintings to my Amer-I-Can and Ameri-Can-Can series—I create vivid, narrative images that celebrate possibility, connection, and the joy of seeing the familiar in a new way.  Spiritual themes, including my angel works, remain another part of my creative path.

 

I create images I haven’t seen before—work that can delight, stir emotion, and invite a second look. My practice continues to evolve, with Midwestern roots informing a visual language of growth, resilience, humor, and change.
